On the right I have a link for "Grammar - OWL Purdue". This has some nice information. I found it when researching the uses of "a" and "an". The site is more for older students and adults, but it still has good information for the upper elementary student.

1/17/14 - World Population Density
My son showed this to me the other day. I was reminded of it as we were talking about population density in class, because the population of Egypt is very dense along the Nile. It is because within miles of either side of the Nile is desert.
As I was searching for population density maps, I found lots of questionable content and ads. This one is a little sketchy, as it seems to linked to survivalists! But the maps are good.

If you ever find anything objectionable on these links I post, let me know, because you can find a site that is 99% terrific with great information, but the 1% can be horrendous!
