Week 36 - Elementary Track Meet Information

Elementary Track Meet Information

Where: West High School Track

When: Wednesday, May 18, First event starts at 11:45, last event is scheduled for 2:05.

Students will take the bus.

Students should bring their lunch, because we have to be on the bus by 11:00.

Students bring only water in the water bottle.

Students should wear clothes that you can move well in. Students will get the Lemme t-shirt issued to them at school, then return them to us when they return to school.

56th Annual ICCSD Track and Field Day

I remember my days at Hoover during the 20th and 21st Annual ICCSD Track and Field Day. Both years I got 2nd in the high jump, which they do not contest any more. There was no cup stacking or soccer dribble. Anyway, I just want to remind you to have your student bring a sack lunch that day, as we have to board the bus around 11:00. The event is at West High this year.

Week 35: Tissues, Pencils, More Blogs

Tissues

Here is how the year goes: In the fall, teachers get all the boxes of tissues. As the year progresses, the cold season is upon us and the tissues are used. Then there is a little lull in early spring, but then as April showers do their thing, the May flowers bring allergies! So another round of tissue-using, but the supplies dwindle. So the annual "one last appeal for tissues"! Don't spend a lot of money; we just need to get through the last 3 1/2 weeks!

Pencils

Believe it or not, we are also running out of pencils. Just grab 2-3 and send them along. Only 17 days left, but it is 17 days of school!

I have failed to keep up on the blog. Oh, I do the daily assignment book notes, but I feel I need to regale you with some words of wisdom at least once a week. I will be more diligent as the year winds down!
